About Us: The principles of Reflections Marketing LLC have a love of music (particularly funk music) and play a variety of music instruments, mainly the electric bass.  We also play a little keyboard, drums, electric guitar, and do a bit of singing as well. Our love of music is inspired by the 1970's.  We don't know exactly what our strange affinity is for the 1970's.  Is it the funky clothes, hairstyles, or cool lingo?  Is it the classic TV shows like the Brady Bunch?  Or, maybe its the unforgettable Disco dance moves that will forever be engrained in our minds, thanks to classic movies like Saturday Night Fever.  We don't know what it is for sure, but we do know that the funky 1970's music sure has us hooked.  If you are anything like us, you normally play it cool.  You hear a tune you like, and start bobbin your head a little bit.  You might even sing some lyrics under your breathe, but overall, you stay pretty low-key.  That is.....until you start hearing some funky 1970's music!   Here are some of the artists that inspired our love for music, our desire to launch Independent Musicians Network, and our passion for creating and selling music from our homes.   Our Inspiration:     Brothers Johnson If you are into serious Funk , and classic slow jams, check out Brothers Johnson.    Bassist Louis Johnson is our all-time favorite bass player, and he has an unforgettable groove that can make you forget your feet are hurting, and keep you dancing until the early morning light.             Earth Wind & Fire We had a chance to see Earth Wind & Fire live in concert and their energy was amazing.  The group has truly talented musicians, who also know how to put on a very entertaining show. Verdine White does a terrific job laying down his bass lines, and makes sure that you feel the groups unmistakable  grooves     Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five Granted, Michael has been the center of a lot of controversy, but there is no denying him of two things.  He is a music legend, and has rightfully earned his reputation as the king of pop.  We were a part of the masses  that spent countless hours trying to moonwalk and copy Michael's other timeless dance moves.  We proudly sported our Jerry Curl hair do's, our cool Michael Jackson leather jackets, and our white glove. Michael's classic music and dance moves are second to none, and will be around for decades to come.     Marvin Gaye Marvin was one of the most gifted, visionary, and enduring talents ever launched into orbit by Motown. When we listened to Marvin's soulful grooves, it really felt like he was singing to us. When Marvin sang, you could truly feel his words and message through your being.  Marvin was so gifted at self expression and a powerful agent for social change.  It is a tragedy that he is no longer with us, but his music will continue to stand the test of time.
