Rhythm Guitar Strumming: Learn & Master Guitar Tips

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Rhythm guitar can really help set the groove of a song.  You may listen to a great guitar player and think you may not have the chops to throw down like them, but when you break down what they are doing…you’ll see that you can learn to play like your favorite guitar players with practice.

The key is you really need to go slow, break down what they are doing, and keep practicing until you get it…then practice some more!

Watch the video above for an example.  Steve Krenz from Learn and Master Guitar is an amazing guitar player.  If you start watching the video you may think that you won’t be able to play like him…then he breaks things down for you so you can see how to successfully play what he’s showing you.

You’ll need to slow down and get that chunk down pat.  Once you get that, you can pump your first finger for some variation.  Then experiment by adding your second and third finger back occasionally to get the full E minor 7 chord in your riff.  Emphasize a note now and again and you’ll really create a fantastic groove.

If you don’t get it right away, no worries.  Just keep practicing at your own pace and you’ll get there.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_cta_button call_text=”Learn and Master the Guitar
