Blues Guitar Double Stops: Learn & Master Guitar Tips
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
If you want to spice up your blues guitar playing, add some classic blues guitar double stop licks. If you don’t know what a double stop is, its when you play a lick that uses two notes at the same time. So try keeping one note in place and move around your other notes.
In the video above one of the licks you see is a double stop played in “A”. The first finger bars the 1st, second, and third string at the 5th fret. Then catch the “D” at the 7th fret at the 3rd string. Use your third finger to keep your “A” going. Then try adding some hammer ons, pull offs, and bends to funk up your groove a bit.
Watch the video with your guitar handy and give it a try!
If you don’t get it right away, no worries. Just keep practicing at your own pace and you’ll get there.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_cta_button call_text=”Learn and Master the Guitar
