Don’t Force People to Steal Your Music

If you release a song online without full distribution behind it (meaning it’s available on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify etc.), there is a good chance that you’re losing out on both streaming and download sales.

Indie Music Artists can have a great deal of success with singles, they are especially great for building anticipation for full-length releases or EP.  Even though you can have success releasing a single you need to make sure its on sale online too. You want to make your music as accessible as possible to your fans, if you don’t, you risk your fans going someplace else to get your music (e.g. they may illegally download your music or just forget about your music and go check out another artist altogether).
