The less active you are on social media the less active your music fans are…and vice versa.
If you provide regular updates on what’s happening with your band, your readers and fans will keep expecting regular updates from you or your bandmates.
Remember your social media audience invests their time and money with you, and you should plan on making sure they are getting good value in return.
It’s important that you do find a good balance. Don’t just try to sell your listeners on your new albums and merchandise, give them free content to better insure they’ll keep coming back to hear more from you or your group.
