Extended Entry Deadline: Enter the 2015 Unsigned Only Music Competition by April 29th

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Unsigned Only is an annual international music competition designed for singers and bands who are not signed to a major label or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints.  The goal of Unsigned Only is to find an outstanding performer or group. It doesn’t matter if you are raw, polished,  a newcomer or a veteran, Unsigned Only wants to help you get discovered.

They offer recognition, exposure, great prizes and the chance to be heard by high-profile recording artists and professionals in the music industry.

First place winners in each category receive $1,000 in addition to other prizes, and cecond place winners also receive prizes. The first place winner in the Screen Shot category will be mentored by music executives who place songs in tv, film, ads, and video games.

The Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 and direct contact with record label executives. They also receive an amazing opportunity to be mentored by a group of record company presidents, A&R reps, and more!

The 2015 Categories include:

• AAA (Adult Album Alternative)
• AC (Adult Contemporary)
• Americana
• Christian
• Country
• Folk/Singer-Songwriter
• Pop/Top 40
• R&B/Hip-Hop
• Rock
• Screen Shot (oringal songs in all genres suited for placement in TV/Film, Advertising/Gaming)
• Teen (for artists 18 years old and younger)
• Vocal Performance

Judging Criteria: originality, songwriting/arrangement, vocals, performance, and overall likeability.  NOTE: Unsigned Only accepts both original and cover songs in all categories, except Screen Shot, which requires original songs only. Entries in the Vocal Performance category will be based solely on the quality of the vocals.
