Insound Closing Soon: Online Music Retailer Insound Announces Closure
Even though the vinyl record business has made a resurgence in 2014, indie music retailer Insound confirmed via Twitter that they are shutting their doors at the end of March.
Insound sold vinyl, audio equipment, cd’s and merchandise to diehard music fans for 16 years. Although the store was well liked by many, an industry source says they were a small company, and they were not commercially viable (a.k.a. not making much profit).
As a result, Warner Music Group is shutting the doors down on March 31st. It may not be much consolation for the Insound loyal customers, but Warner promised that customers will receive all outstanding orders.
