Music On Vine: Twitter Launches Music on Vine to Help You Easily Discover and Create Music
Twitter wants more artists to share their creative works with Vine. As a result, they have launched “Music on Vine” for iOS and Android to accomplish this objective, so users can easily create music on the short-form video sharing service.
Users will be able to explore a new Featured Tracks section, where they can add songs to their own feeds. Also, a music note icon will be displayed next to Vines allowing users to tap on it to see track information.
This may be a precursor to new licensing deals with music publishers, and it has since been confirmed that their editorial team selects songs they think the community will enjoy, and then they will work with labels, publishers, and artist management to license songs and bring them to Vine as featured tracks.
New music discovery features and a new Snap to Beat feaure for easily creating music loops, and adding sounds or songs to any part of your Vine, are also expected to be great added features for musicians and fans.
