Store 50,000 Songs Free: Google Play Music Increases Cloud Storage Limit

Google Play Music users have more than double the capacity to store their own music collection in the cloud.  Now you can store 50,000 songs (up to 300mg per song).

The extended library allowance is also a free upgrade for users so its not required that you sign up for Drive storage.

If you are already hosting your collection in Google’s cloud, the bump from 20,000 to 50,000 songs will be applied automatically.

Although there is an increasing trend towards music streaming services and away from digital downloads, there are still many listeners who invest in building large local storage libraries.
