You want people to come and spend time at your band website. It should NOT be a point of departure.
If your website only consists of a landing page with an image, your band name, and some social media icons… you need to rethink your strategy. When potential fans come to your website, they are there to get some information about you or your band, they don’t want to just be driven off of your website. If they did, they wouldn’t have visited your site in the first place.
Make sure you put some good content on your website like e.g. tour dates, important band news, your story etc. You should also give your fans the option to buy your music and band merchandise from your website too. This gives people a good reason to keep coming back to your website, and checking out what you have to offer.
Never make your fans work hard to find what they are looking for. They shouldn’t have to go on a wild goose chase to get the information they are looking for from you or your band.
