Why You’re Not Getting More Twitter Followers

You may be trying to utilize Twitter to get more exposure for your music, but may be having a hard time getting followers. Here’s some reasons you’re not getting many Twitter followers:

1) Bad quality images

You need to make sure your images are high quality and are interesting to catch people’s attention.

2) Incomplete Bio

Many people read bios to determine whether or not they want to follow you. If your bio is incomplete many people on Twitter may not look any further to see what you, your band, of songs are all about.

3) Incomplete Profile

Make sure you complete your Twitter profile and include a profile photo, cover photo, a link to your location, and a link to your website.  This will give visitors an understanding of who you are, what you do, and what to expect from your tweets.

4. Tweeting multiple messages in a row

Don’t make the mistake of sending out a bunch of Tweets in a row because you want your followers to look forward to your upcoming tweets. Try scheduling your Tweets in advance and spread your knowledge over time on a consistent basis with fresh content to keep your followers coming back for more.

5. Your Tweets have a negative tone or dont make any sense

Make sure your message is clear and not cluttered with confusing hashtags or jargon.

6. You’re not engaging with your followers

If followers engage in conversations or mention you, make sure you Tweet back or follow them to show that you appreciate their engagement with you and your content.
